Crazy Busy. Crazy Fun.

The last few days have been absolutely crazy. Crazy busy, and crazy fun. On Friday, I got to hang out with the other Beka, and then spend the night at her house. It was beyond awesome.

Manna.

I have been thinking about manna recently. God didn't give the Israelites manna for a year, a month, or even a week. He gave them manna for each day, every single day. He provided for them. He didn't always give them what they wanted, but He always gave them what they needed. It's the same way for us.

Yesterday morning, I woke up thinking that I was going to spend the whole day at home doing school and just helping my mom. But God dropped two jobs in my lap and I spent most of the day away from home. I felt so blessed. Yes, one of those jobs included cleaning somebody else's toilet, but ya know what? I didn't mind.

Some days the manna comes in the form of grace, peace, or an extra job. But the point is, it always comes. I don't think it ever looks the way we think it will, but that is part of the beauty of it.

Today I had coffee with one of the most amazing people ever. Rebekah (not me, the other one) is one of the most beautiful people I know. Inside and out. Whenever I am around her, I feel like everything is right again in the world. She makes the sun shine even when it is raining. She makes me feel so special. And loved. She is a really caring person. And not in that sicky-sweet way. Oh, and did I mention that she is gorgeous??

We had so much fun. We giggled. We almost cried. We laughed. We were solemn. It was amazing. I came away feeling like everything was right in my world once again. She is so good for me. (I love you my dear friend!!) She's a fruitloop in a world full of cheerios. And I am a better person for knowing her!

Deck the Halls.

I decided today would be a good day to put up a few Christmas decorations. So with Christmas music turned up high, I began.

I am ashamed to admit how long it actually took me to get to this point. But somebody (cough cough Gramps) didn't leave the instructions in the box.

Much better. It actually resembles a tree. Imagine that.

   Pretty well put together. Now I just need to add some presents under it. Oh. And some more ornaments.  

 This set was made by my Great-Grandma Straw. And it was given to me by my grandparents. Pretty special if you ask me. 

Okay. Now I am off to find some more random decorations to put up. Or maybe I will clean up my room. Hmmm. I think I vote for more decorations. Have a nice day everybody. And to help you with that, I will leave you with a song. A beautiful song. Enjoy.
