Eli + Emily
You GUYS. This session was beyond incredible. I have known Emily since college, when we were young kids running around campus with our cameras taking photos of anything and everything. Two years ago, she married her knight in shining armor, and this year I was privileged enough to take their anniversary photos! We started the session in a field and then headed to the top of the mountain to finish up. My favorite photos always end up being toward the middle to end of a session, and this one was no different. Like, good grief these two + that location = aaaallll the dancing ladies and fire and heart eye emojis. Eli looked like he was proposing a few times (when in reality he was just helping his wife change from comfy shoes to photo-session-worthy-shoes), nobody fell off the mountain, and we channeled our inner "Man from Snowy River" a little bit. It was a good evening!

2 0 1 8 B R I D E S // Hey there beautiful!
How exciting is it that in less than three months, you'll be able to say "I marry the love of my life THIS year"?!
You've been waiting for that day your whole life. Planning it out with your best friend underneath the covers when you were really supposed to be sleeping. Dreaming about it when you had your first crush, and wondering if he was the one. Going to weddings and gazing longingly at the miles of lace and tulle as the bride floated down the aisle toward her beloved.
And now, it's your turn.
Which means you're going to want someone to capture every moment of that perfect day that you have dreamt about for years, and have now spent countless hours planning for!
I always start my brides off with a free, no obligation consultation at Starbucks, which also includes me treating you to coffee or tea or whatever your drink of choice is! (But if anybody ever suggested meeting at a frozen yogurt parlor, I definitely would not say no.)
If you decide to book me, I promise I will be there every step of the way. Photographing a wedding isn't just about that day, it's about all the days leading up to it. I'm never more than a phone call or text away, and am more than happy to be a person you can bounce ideas off of!
The day of the wedding always finds me at the venue a little early, because no bride needs to be worried about where her photographer is! Throughout the whole wedding day, I strive to capture every moment in non-obtrusive ways, and to make everyone feel relaxed and comfortable. One bride says // She is quick and always smiling! She has a way of always helping you feel natural and charming! She's just plain amazing!
And after the wedding? Well, my promise to be there every step of the way doesn't end when the last photo is taken as you drive off into the sunset with your new husband! I stay in close communication with you over the next few weeks as I personally edit each and every one of your photos. Lots of sneak peeks are shared, and there is a very good chance you'll get random texts from me gushing about what a gorgeous couple you and your new husband make, just cause I'm sappy like that.
The photos are ready within 4 to 5 weeks, although a lot of times it's much sooner than that! Not only will you receive the images on a personalized USB drive, but they will also be uploaded to an online gallery for easy sharing. Alongside of those two ways to view your photos, I included several special little gifts for you and your husband (one that is handmade by yours truly). This is just my way of saying a big ole THANK YOU for allowing me to be part of such a special time in your life.
So, why me? Because I won't just be your wedding photographer. I will be your friend.

Ryan // Senior
This kid. When on earth did he grow up? I have known Ryan since he was knee high to a grasshopper, and it has been amazing to watch him grow into the talented young man that he is today. He has great plans for the future, and I know that he will succeed at anything he puts his mind to!

Joseph + Adie
This was such a fun session! These adorable people got married just a few months back, and jumped at the chance to take some sunflower patch photos one evening! Adie is a dear friend of my (now!) cousin Hannah, so our paths have crossed pretty often over the last few years. Joseph and Adie have been sweethearts for forever, and I was so happy for them to finally tie the knot! The entire session they were just engrossed in each other, which made my job so stinking easy. I love couples who are head over heels in love!
