Baby I (and his mommy & daddy!)

I flew 3,000 miles with my big DSLR juuuust so I could get some photos of this handsome little man the first time that I met him! He captured my heart within about five seconds, and nothing has changed since then (except maybe he's grown up just a LOT).

While I was back there, they had one of the worst snow storms in like forever (in fact, I had to fly out of Oregon sooner to beat the storm!) But once the snow had started to melt off, we headed outside for a quick few photos before daddy had to head off to work. So thankful for the time I got to spend with them in their cozy little apartment, and for these photos that hold such good memories.

And now I'm gonna go cry about how fast my little man has grown up... ❤

Mr & Mrs Church

Once upon a time...my big sister got married! And not only did I get to stand beside her as her maid-of-honor, I also got to photograph their portraits!

Despite the mugginess of that day, it was still oh so beautiful, and everything went off with out (too many?) hitches. I've never seen my sister more beautiful, and I felt so honored to get to play two such important roles in their day. ❤

...and they lived happily ever after.

Mrs Emily...and Isaac??

This session will always hold special memories for me. I don't even remember what event we had just come from, but I had just gotten a new camera and so my sis-in-law and I decided to take advantage of the gorgeous evening light and got take a few photos! Well, unknown to me, my sis was carrying a little secret with her. My nephew!! I think they had just found out, so weren't ready to tell anyone yet, even though Em told me later that it was *really* hard not to tell me why her tummy was just a tiny bit poochy! :)

Now that's one hot mama right there! (Yeah, my brother definitely married out of his league.)
